Our Story

Founded in 2024, Ek Prayaas is a non-profit organization committed to creating educational equity in Nepal. We focus on identifying academically promising students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and connecting them with the resources they need to thrive. Through our scholarships, mentorship programs, and grassroots community initiatives, we aim to transform lives and strengthen the future of our nation.

Our Services

🎓Scholarships for SEE Graduates

We provide 100 full scholarships annually to academically talented students from low-income families across Morang and surrounding districts. These scholarships cover tuition fees, books, uniforms, and other educational necessities—removing financial barriers to higher education.

🤝 Mentorship & Career Guidance

Education is only the beginning. Through structured mentorship, students are paired with professionals, educators, and former scholarship recipients. Our mentors offer career counseling, life skills training, and motivation to help students envision and plan a successful future beyond academics.

🌍 Community Engagement Activities

We believe in giving back. Our students and volunteers lead and participate in community outreach programs such as:

Tree plantation drives
Health and hygiene awareness
Civil education workshops
Support to orphanages and persons with disabilities

These initiatives foster empathy, leadership, and a sense of civic responsibility
